the universe unleashed [2001]

It was two years ago, I wandered towards vast unbeaten extremities guided by a force that has driven many. As a lamer I decided to join hands with one who had also been gazing at distant stars and wondering if they really do exist. As we dug into what was already known we realized that we knew much less than what we thought we knew.

We took a breathtaking insight, not just into the past, present and future of the Universe, but into the mind of scientific genius. Mr. Stephen Hawking who possesses a natural teacher’s gifts - easy good natured humour and an ability to illustrate highly complex propositions with analogies plucked from daily life, took us to a voyage to the frontiers of the Cosmos through his books. He has explained through his writings the complexities of cosmological physics with an engaging combination of clarity and wit....His books shook us and taught us to ask questions and the fact that we go about our daily lives understanding almost nothing about the world.

This piece of writing relates to the Universe and therefore God......or perhaps the absence of God. We move on a quest to answer whether God had any choice in creating the Universe. Cosmological physics, and to a great extent Science attempts to understand the mind of God. This makes us look forward to the climax....Is this a universe with no edge in space, no beginning in time, and nothing for a Creator to do...or It may just be the other way.

‘Is the Universe going to expand into eternity or will
everything collapse into a Big Crunch in which physical
laws become meaningless? Was there a begining of
time? Could time run backwards? Is the Universe infinite
or does it have boundaries? Why do we only
remember the past and not the future?’
